𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗬𝗡𝗢𝗣𝗦𝗜𝗦 In this 19-hour long online course, students will be able to learn a solid foundation in the fundamental concept of algebra and taxation process. Students will gain problem-solving abilities in the areas of tax calculation, linear inequalities, and quadratic equations throughout the course. The target audience for this course consists of students who did not obtain a credit in Mathematics in their SPM. No specific prerequisite knowledge is required. 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗬 Faculty Of Computing And Multimedia (FCOM) 𝗗𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 19 hours 𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 Students who did not obtain a credit in Mathematics in their SPM. 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦, 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗗 None 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗥𝗢 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 At the end of the course, participants should be able to: MLO1 – Find roots of quadratic equations in one variable, both graphically and algebraically, utilizing methods such as factoring, completing the square, and quadratic formula. MLO2 – Identify the region of the coordinate plane that satisfies a given linear inequality. MLO3 – Compute personal income tax liabilities for individuals in Malaysia.
